Context
I co-lead the creation of the brand style guide with the other lead copywriter. This was a long over-due project with the company consistently growing and transitioning. We needed a standardized format for both marketing copy, content design, and visual design.
SimplePractice
With five business solutions total—all owned by SimplePractice—we divided the workload so that I would work on SimplePractice, the core EHR, and my counterpart would take on the rest.
Content design
Strategy
A combination of post-it notes and Google docs helped clarify the content that was applicable when speaking about SimplePractice. Voice & tone, grammar rules, and how to speak to our unique audience was all included to ensure brand consistency moving forward.
